Wouldn’t you know it — Summer I classwork still to be graded (with grades due by Tuesday), Summer II classes (for the Hubby) beginning on Wednesday, and a literary event meeting (for me) on Tuesday, and what strikes from the clear, blue summer sky?

Symptoms that are similar to flu or cedar fever (muscle aches, nasal congestion, cough, sore throat, and 101 degree fever) for the Hubby, and cold/allergy symptoms that feel like it wants to get worse for me.  So far — fingers crossed — Daniel’s relatively sick-free, with the exception of some nasal stuffiness and a runny nose.

I think it’s a case of “won’t get sick until we get a break” — that is, during the 4th of July weekend.  Much plying of meds and bedrest to try to recoup as quickly as possible.  As the Hubby states, “Got too much work to do.”
