Wiki While You Work

I’m familiar with blogs and discussion forums, but wikis were something new.  So I did lots of research in it before deciding that a wiki as its website was exactly what the Sigma Kappa Delta chapter at my campus needed.

It’s all about collaboration.  And considering that the members of SKD commute to the campus — per usual in any community college — I realized that the enduring problem of getting members together in a set meeting place in order to work together and time could be solved in a virtual meeting/working space like a wiki.

Yay for 21st century communication tools!

About lizardqueen

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.
