Things That Go Beep: Job Edition

Today, I went in to work, for an introductory training.

Why do I need training since I’ve been teaching for nearly ten years now?

Because all of my classrooms, beginning this January, will be filled with this.

COOL… and YIKES.  The only thing beepy that my current syllabus accounts for are data projectors, Internet access (especially to access YouTube and Blackboard), and MS Office products (especially PowerPoint).  So, I see my Christmas break — after Christmas, that is — filled with gobs of gooey lesson-plan redesigny goodness until classes start again come January 20.

Well… good thing I like technology!  🙂

About lizardqueen

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.

Better you than me. I might get some use out of it, but redesigning entire classes for it? No way.

Looks like a pretty nifty product to me! Can’t imagine having to redeisgn entire classes for it, though.

    Good luck!

    How cool is that?
