The Eclectic, Volume I

Well, the inaugural volume of The Eclectic, the literary and arts journal of that English Honor Society of which I’m a faculty advisor is officially here.

It’s a tiny chapbook, to acknowledge and celebrate the four students who took the time to read Fahrenheit 451 and then submit their work in the thematic photography and writing contests. Fortunately, the submissions were good quality stuff — yay — and so I was more than happy to edit and publish their work.

Wanna support student writers and photographers? Then check out The Eclectic, Volume I! 🙂

About lizardqueen

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.

Very exciting stuff. One of my best memories in high school was helping to restart the literary magazine which hadn’t existed in at least a decade. I still occasionally look at it and am amazed at–not necessarily how good it is, but how well it showed what high school students were interested in.
