It’s looking more and more that Daniel’s an extrovert, just like his mommy. He likes being around people, around social noises (like people talking and ambient music). When it’s dead silent, he tends to wake up and get upset, especially if he can’t see anybody around.
I’m like that, even when I was a little kid. Unlike the Hubby, who grew up in a quiet household and liked his solitude, I grew up in a loud, hustle-and-bustle household, falling asleep in front of the livingroom TV, hearing both the latenight news and my parents’ conversations as my lullabies.
As for Daniel: Granted, he’s only nine weeks old (going on ten weeks this Thursday), so we’ll see if this characteristic continues as he develops.
