Diaper Donation

One of the things I did today, as the Hubby did sick baby duty this afternoon, was run to the post office to mail the two packages of newborn disposable diapers that Daniel outgrew.

I was looking for a place online to donate, preferably someplace local.  JG yesterday suggested a women’s shelter, which I had replied, “Good idea!”

I found one: Genesis Women’s Shelter, in Dallas, Texas.

Everybody needs good things in this world, to offset the bad, and Genesis Women’s Shelter (and organizations like it) does exactly that.

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.

…and the family shelters are also grateful for outgrown onesies and sleepers, too. Or there’s always craigslist.
