Exercise and the Placebo Effect

Belief in exercise may make it more effective.

If this study is consistently true for all kinds of physical activity, then we have yet another example of the mind having a powerful effect on the health of the body.  In other words, if we believe our physical activity is a great workout, then it *will* be a great workout.

 That’s pretty cool.

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.
