I’m buried under student essays.  Seven freshman composition classes all turning in their short essays, journals, and research papers this week.  Nobody to blame but me — after all, I’m the one who assigned the essays and gave the due dates as well.  Then I’ll be getting final exams to grade as well, next week.

 ::big cleansing breath::

The Lizard Queen will be mucho-loco busy for the next few days.

About lizardqueen

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.

    Update #2: I’m nearly done with the sixth class’ set of essays (Research Papers — takes longer to grade).

    I’m down to the last tea bag. Good thing I have some loose Teavana oolong somewhere in my office! 🙂
