Day 10

Wednesday, May 24, 2006
Today was glens-cruising in Angus! The day started rainy, but turned to bright blue sky with clouds billowing and then racing above the glens, as the winds picked up and remained blustery. At Glenshee (a “sea” of glens — very beautiful), we stopped often to look at roe deer and listen to the wind. Christa almost got a photo of a couple of grouse, but they exploded out of the heather and — poof — they were gone.

About lizardqueen

If single-mothering were a paid job, I'd be rich. However, it doesn't, so I write (which doesn't pay the bills) and teach (which does). I'm overly-educated in the liberal arts, but that doesn't hinder my ability to be pragmatic and realistic. YAY.
