These days, I’m more a lurker than a commentor on many folks’ blogs — not because I don’t care (I wouldn’t visit if I didn’t), but because I don’t want to disturb folks’ calm with anything I would say (even if it were totally innocuous).  For these days, my sense of my own positive diction usage seems to be far off to what’s acceptable to some folks.

So, I’m still rooting for folks — yay, you! — but I’m just on the sidelines.

As for those who are just lurking as well — thanks for visiting, and I hope to put up more meaningful content.

Until then, here’s a Sousa march, in keeping with the Fourth of July holiday weekend. (“Stars and Stripes Forever” always pops in my head whenever I see the American flag — must be my Navy brat upbringing.)
